Goals and Benefits
The goals of our Marion County Chamber of Commerce are to promote programs to create more dollars for more people, and to improve the economic welfare of our community. To accomplish, this we appoint action committees to explore every avenue and possibility. These committees usually include those working in every area: industrial development, agriculture, conventions, tourism, civic affairs, retail promotion, and educational. Every chamber member has a voice in determining the policies and every member is needed to work on active committees to get the job done. The Chamber of Commerce is a service institution and action organization. It provides a medium through which every person can take effective action for the progress of the community.
